Jam Master J killer confesses?? Man Reportedly Confesses to Jam Master Jay Killing
Posted April 17, 2007 – A career criminal currently serving time in a Brooklyn prison has implicated himself in the killing rap legend Jam Master Jay, also known as Jason Mizell, according to The Boston Herald. The paper reports that during the federal robbery trial of Ronald “Tenad” Washington, a witness gave testimony that Washington confessed details about the murder of Mizell and another hip-hop artist, Randy “Stretch” Walker, who appeared on Tupac’s “Thug Life” album. Washington denies the witnesses claims, insisting that they are self-serving. “It’s all lies. She’s telling them that I was mad at Jay because he is doing better than I am, that I killed Stretch because he owed me something and I wanted it. She is making up lies because they threatened to deport her,” he said. The Herald reports that Washington will likely be named in the two killings, as a part of a larger federal investigation into violence within the hip-hop industry. The paper also reports claims by law enforcement officials that in coming months, many several hip-hop artists will be indicted for “a number of violent acts.” | |
