Although i think America finally got it right by voting Sanjaya off, I felt bad for him... to see him up there crying like that... Dude can't sing but the amount of hatred thrown at that kid is kinda sad

I will say that I was a little stunned by people cheering in the audience when Ryan said Sanjaya's going home but my excitement capped that real quick. He overstayed his welcome.

If it's a singing show, why does American vote at all...If singing is that objective, why vote? Why not have those "experts" (none that can actually sing) figure it all out...after all, they put Sanjaya all the way the point where America could vote! Am I the crazy one here?

With the voting, I think it's to get people involved in making a star. I could be off but that's my understanding of why we're voting. You aren't crazy at all for wondering. Seeing Sanjaya there as long as he was was there made me shake my head in disbelief.

He is a sweet boy, very nice, very polite, and very adoring to his age group... that being said, he could barely carry a tune. He had a couple of good moments, but - he should have never been in the top twelve at all anyway.

Overall - it's a singing competition. He couldn't very well sing, no could he? I'm glad he's out of the race... now, it's time to just let Jordin walk away with the crown, period.

Sanjaya wasn't a legitimate vote, we didn't vote because we liked him, but because we disliked the show itself and most of what it stands for, he was a protest.
