Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough - The best Michael Jackson song?

I don't know about you, but this is definately a contender for MJ's best song of all-time. I think it clearly is his best. It's brilliant in every way.

I love the video too. One of his more simpler in comparison to later ones, but effective nonetheless.

It's one of his best. The video was groundbreaking for it's time and MJ looks so happy and full of energy in it. That song can get any party going. It's just a really great track and still holds up well to this day.
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

I would say it's Smooth Criminal, I used to be sooo obsessed with that song! It's also his best video.

Like a lot of MJ songs, I can see this being a hit today. If MJ released it right now, I think it would top the charts. Just like Billie Jean and a long list of timeless classics he's made.

It would be nice if he got back to basics instead of trying to compete against todays garbage nod

Exactly. That's why I cringe at news of him hiring Akon or will.i.am as producers. Although I trust that he knows what he is doing, I can't help but think he is more interested in chart positions and record sales than making good music. I so wish he would go back and listen to Off The Wall, and then afterwards listen to Invincible. That would give him a good idea of what works for him and what doesn't.

Well you know what? Michael has always been and will always be concerned with chart positions. I wish that wasn't the case and I wish he would just make music w/o worrying about all that because it doesn't matter if he never sold another record in his life because he's pretty much accomplished everything, but he is a competitive person and those things do matter to him. Anyway, If Will.I.AM can make Hillary Duff sound good, there should be no problem working with MJ. If you saw the Accesshollywood interview MJ did back in November where MJ & Will.I.AM played a snippet from the new album-that little clip sounded very promising.

I think Michael has gone back to using real live instruments on this album instead of that computerized mess he did on "Invincible", so that is defenitly a good thing.

It's not even the best song on Off The Wall, IMO.

I still like it, though. Off The Wall is my favorite MJ album.

Smooth Criminal as his best FunkJam?! eek All he says in that song is "Annie are you Okay?" (like a gazillion times). Classic Video fa sho.

DSTYGE is on a short list of best ever joints for MJ, not sure if its at the top tho.

what's funny is the gym i workout in has a studio where the women and a few men (who get clowned on for going) do dance aerobics, and they play this song all the time. the men in the gym part of the uh, gym try to conceal and downplay their desire to MOVE to this song.

Smooth criminal is NOT funk, more like pure pop. DSTYGE, along with the song Off The Wall (which I actually prefer) is pure exhiliration. Infact Off The Wall is a kind of anthem for me about being young and just living for the moment before you get too old.

This song is a timeless classic headbang I still hear it in clubs from time to time and when they play it,people still go crazy. One of MJ's classic jams!

The only weak thing about this song are the lyrics, which aren't that great boxed But the groove is so hypnotic, who cares about what he's saying?
