It doesn't sound like a timbaland beat at all.

well it might be anyway. remember, they tim and björk worked together
on these tracks/beats even before he started work on Nelly and J.T.'s
albums.

so she had all that time to tweek his beats and cut them up, work on
them etc etc. she even said as much in a recent interview.

i guess even timbaland won't recognise some of his own beats lol lol

He just delivered the beats. There was no production, no guest rapping, he won't be in the clip. They did about seven songs together.

She then took the beats home and indeed, tweaked them to her own needs.

Sounds like "Milkshake" reworked, musically nothing to rave about. I like the tense, paranoid atmospere, though. On a side note, it is nice to hear Bjork in upbeat material again.

i think timbaland's presence on volta will be much like cheryl crow's and gwen stefani's on RAVE: it'll be there in theory, i guess. though i love how some people are saying earth intruders sounds like a freakin nelly furtado song. rolleyes

Single, album, wait tilbleeding JUNE to see her in concert. I liked it better, concert-wise, when she was still living in Europe.

I fucking love the music - will wait till i hear it in better quality to judge as a whole but im really liking the vibe of it - its pure chaos. When i heard Bjork was working with Timbaland I knew she'd make it work and that their collaboration would be inspired - Madonna on the other hand I'm marginally less convinced will manage to make her own stamp on his stuff.
Anyway - once again Bjork manages to sound light years ahead of the pack - almost effortlessly.

On a side note - does anyone think that Bjorks choice to record with T may have had something to do with persuading Ms Ritchie? She's enver hidden her admiration for Bjork and seems to follow her lead at times.

Actually is the contrary...Madonna has been the one that has tried to copy björk! That's why the whore of pop worked Nellee Hopper on Bedtime Story and Sanctuary
