I don't come to this forum often, so I don't know if this has been discussed...

I just saw Beyonce's video, "Beautiful Liar" with Shakira, for the 1st time. I actually like it!!

Generally, it pains me to watch Beyonce move.
My sister was watching this special about those "B-Day" videos last night, in which Beyonce kept using the word "choreography" to describe the moves in her videos. I complained the whole time!

But this- I guess she had to step up her game if she was going to be with Shakira. That woman moves like liquid...
They actually kind of looked alike in this one, too. (I wonder how long it took them to straighten Shakira's hair?!).

(& save the "Why U Hatin' crap... I don't think she can dance is all. I gave her props this time.)

I don't like the video or the song.

I just watched the video and I must say, I really like the song. It blends their voices beautifully. While I can sometimes take AND leave the both of them, This is one smart duet.

I really like the song and video, Shakira is one of my favorite singers, both are so gorgeous in the video.

Yea the video is hot and the dancing is on point. At one point during the video, Shaki & B actually looked like twins and I could not tell them apart but I guess that was the intention.

A friend of ours was over last night and we ended up watching the whole "B Week" thing and doing the "Girly Critique" thing....

The best part of the "Get Me Bodied" video is Beyonce's dance partner. Bro can move. He makes it all look so easy! He even makes Her look like she can dance! (I really don't think she can- if she's not crawling on the floor, she's just jerking uncontrollably)
Beyonce keeps going back and forth between two pairs of shoes in that video- she's got platforms on in some shots, and dance-type shoes on in others.

And yes, Dav, my girls and I have gone out and tried to take over the dance floor "back-in-tha-day"!! I'm gettin' a little up in age....

The song is okay, Ilike it well enough, but the video is pretty fun to watch.

FOR ONCE in her long-legged life Beyonce is actually dancing and not looking like she's being electrocuted.

When I first heard about the video I braced myself for Shakira to put Beyonce to shame and was pleasantly surprised to see her actually dance with some grace and fluidity to her movements. Yay Beyonce.

Anyone remember her little "belly dance" in that Baby Boy video she had some years back? She looked like a joke. I'm glad this video is different.

I love the video as well as the song.

I like the song. Its classy and sexy. Calm cool and collected.

I'm with you, Paisley. I mean, I'm liking a lot of B-day way more than I thought I ever would, so maybe I'm just in a forgiving mood, but I love the live instrumentation in this, and the beat, and the girls-in-solidarity message of the lyrics.

I do feel like some folks just are going to hate anything she touches...
