Damn, i do not want to like this guy. So Sick was ok and Sexy Love was good.

I just heard his new CD and it's all catchy. He's trying to come with it on the new disc...i just don't want to like him.

I am definetly getting this CD when it comes out, my 13 yr old loves him and I can't help but like him too, his new song is really good

Having done several threads dedicated to Ne-Yo I can't say anything bad about him...

"because of you" is a really good song i cant hate.

I like "Because of You" as well. There's something about him that makes me want to like him. I guess the hype and hoopla surrounding Urshur and JT is a little overwhelming sometimes...


Stargate, the Norwegian/Swedish(?) production group who did those chart toppers for him, is nice.

I've always thought his songs had personality and were really pop-aware (which is an elusive skill for a young guy).

When I found out he wrote Rhianna'a 'I don't want to be a murderer' song , I was really impressed. That song was compelling to me.

Then, when it broke that Beyonce was lying and he really wrote Irreplaceable ... that cemented my respect for him.

If nothing else, he's a great writer. Now, I hear he's coming up with stuff for Usher's next album (and his friend Chris Brown, of course).

He hosted the 25 countdown on BET Saturday. I fell in love with him

I pre-ordered his cd that day!

he reminds me of off the wall mj and I also have a lot of respect for his singing and songwriting skills and might buy the album if it's good

I didn't see all the videos Ne-yo selected, but he did play Little Red Corvette, Theives in the Temple, and Diamond and Pearls all in his top 10.

He sings great live. He sounds really good.

But his music is crap...

So did I! His whole top 10 consisted of MJ & Prince videos which could not have been better for someone like me b/c I absolutely love both of those artists. It was an awesome countdown. Anyway I like Ne-Yo. I think he's really talented. His album has been getting good reviews and I heard some of the songs on the internet and so far, so good so maybe i'll actually go out and buy the album instead of DL from the net.

He's a talented young man... heard the whole cd... love everything except that Prince sounding track.... the one with him and Jennifer Hudson is gonna be a hit

because all but 3 of those songs
DO NOT appear on the retail
