Nirvana doesn't quite count because their career was so short. It's quite funny to realise that The Beatles only released albums for four years, while the Beatles did that for seven years. There isn't much difference... Actually that's a great point. One big difference was that the Beatles did 2 per year from 62-66 My Legacy

The only one that comes to mind for me is Crowded House. My other favorite artists (Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye) have volumes and volumes of material, but all of it isn't absolutely crucial. The Crowdies haven't released anything I don't love. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Getting;
Lou Reed's Berlin Gary Numan, even though not mentioned, wanted to get into his music more. Crowded House. Sometimes things are right in front of you. Have some assorted Neil and Tim Fin stuff though. Stereolab. Anything that comes so highly recommended by someone like Gangsta is something worth checking out. N.E.R.D. let's see if they worth the hype. Getting some Neptune stuff too, while I am at it. Siouxsie. What's handy about E-mule is that I am not only loading the discography, but also the Best Of, in case an entire discography is too much.

Eurythmics Björk Cure Joy Division Meshell NdegeOcello Miles Davis Eric Satie Wendy & Lisa Kate Bush Tori Amos Radiohead David Bowie Nirvana Joni Mitchell Cocteau Twins PJ Harvey To name a few. So name ONE artist/band you think is imperative to own everything of. And then ONE album of a certain artist/band that you might not need everything of, but that ONE album... Okay, I'm trying to follow directions....actually there's three artists I must have everything from, WAR Prince Sade The one must have album of the Jackson Five is the Third Album. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.
