load of crap
generic same beats that timbaland has used for over 10 years, same crappy lyrics about nonsense, and having some woman sing asian, wow, groundbreaking, go listen to some real indian banghra if you want the genuine article, not crap like this, regurgitated crap, pointless shite, seriously, this music is beyond disgraceful, its insulting, maybe "amar" was fucking for tracks too ? maybe you should tell them to ring timbaland back and sue for not giving good quality tracks.

Although you also proved you know nothing about Indian music since Amar is a HINDI singer, and bhangra music comes from Punjab and is sung in PUNJABI, Hindi and Punjabi are two completely different languages. I'm not particularly a fan of this track, or timbaland, too much but it's good that it will expose people to indian music. I agree that the track is nothing groundbreaking. please don't talk shit about my friends, Amar most certainly would not fuck for tracks, she is involved with a label in the US that promote asian artists, timbaland was looking for a hindi singer and she was paid to sing on the track. One of the producers at the label is Timbo's right hand man and he did all the vocal production on Nelly Furtado's album, hence the connection. I respect your opinions on music but I won't have you disrespect a friend of mine in that way. Got it? [Edited 4/1/07 14:14pm] [Edited 4/1/07 14:15pm] |

listen up here,
i know more about asian music than most people, big holla to the bradford man, Aki Nawaz, I been down with this shit since the beginning, your friend amar may have a ok voice, but its nothing special, all these new hindi and bhangra singers are rubbish. especially with the likes of jay sean and rishi rich and co putting asian music down the toilet with their rubbish americanised beats. go listen to some real classics by Mohammed Rafi, not turgid crap with timbaland beats than any retard can make on a PC with some free cracked music software. Timbaland is a crack head, steals other peoples music like that finnish guys, uses his same 10 year old recycled kicks and snares from the 90's and thinks he is some kind of great producer. He is nothing, even Devante from Jodeci has outed him, and point black said that Timbaland didn't even know what a drum machine was in 1994. And timbaland thinks he is "20 years deep". yeah right, and Whitney is off the crack bollocks [Edited 4/2/07 15:01pm]

dirtyman,
You know Aki? He's a good friend. My band used to be signed to Nation Records, his label (although I wasn't a member then, but I was around) I see everyone from the 90's Nation Days all the time, and they are all good friends of mine. Chandrasonic and ADF, State of Bengal, Deedar Zaman, Juttla, Charged..... I don't get on with the 2.9 crew at all. I agree it is weak and watered down. I have been down with this shit since the beginning as well. Amar is a talented singer, she has a lot of potential, it is going to waste working with tim but she has other projects in the pipeline.
