I'll try this, even though it doesn't reflect my real top 10, as Prince would land about 5 songs.

1. Prince- "Something in the Water (Does Not Compute)" (1980)
2. Björk- "Isobel" (1995)
3. Eurythmics- "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" (1983)
4. The Cure- "Lovesong" (1989)
5. Janet Jackson- "This Time" (1993)
6. Madonna- "Burning Up" (1983)
7. Blondie- "War Child" (1982)
8. David Bowie- "Moonage Daydream" (1972)
9. Kylie Minogue- "Take Me With You" (1998)
10. Gap Band- "You Dropped a Bomb on Me" (1982)

No. lol Kylie's "Take Me With You" walks all over Prince's "Take Me With You". It's not a cover, BTW.

Really? whofarted

If so, after realising what dodgy taste I have in music, that might be the last response you ever send me. confused lol

That B-52s track got me through many, many, many Summer nights. mushy The whole album ('Cosmic Thing') is amazing but I freaking love that particular song. cloud9 I don't know if you have any of their back catalogue but you really should investigate. GREAT band. music I think you'd like their early, New Wave stuff, particularly. nod

Hey! I forgot to ask... did you like that Thom Yorke track???

This is tough! Here's a rough draft:

1. Don't Dream It's Over - Crowded House (1987)
2. I Want You - Marvin Gaye (1976)
3. Isn't She Lovely - Stevie Wonder (1976)
4. Burn Rubber (Why You Wanna Hurt Me) - The Gap Band (1980)
5. That Lady - The Isley Brothers (1973)
6. I Like - Guy (1989)
7. Everybody Wants to Rule the World - Tears for Fears (1985)
8. Billie Jean - Michael Jackson (1983)
9. Thieves in the Temple - Prince (1990)
10. At Your Best (You Are Love) - Aaliyah (1994)

"Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" almost got the nod for my Stevie song. I'll have to think about this some more. hmmm

I'm with you, Mutiny. "Don't Let Me Down" would've been my Beatles pick. nod
