it's about to come on here at 2am. some baseball game was on this afternoon which completely threw may day off. i'm not familiar with the 70s episodes but i now prefer them over the later yrs. they were really groovin. the LA dancers looked like they were trying to be discovered.

WGN (the Chicago Cubs baseball station) normally shows it early (11am) here in L.A.
Luckily, the late (2pm) local station KTLA, is not affiliated with any baseball team. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I saw it on my local channel late that night since they had that damn ball game on WGN. Other than the Rufus and Chaka Khan song during the line dance, I had never heard of any of the other songs on the episode and didn't care for them too much. I turned my recorder off two thirds into the show because I could see it wasn't going to get any better.
This was one of the worst 70s episodes they have shown so far. The dancers were standing around more during the performances than dancing because everything that was performed was slow. They don't need to show another episode like that. That's why I say, play some late 70s episodes. Disco had taken over by then and the tempo had sped up. . . They already show the dead ass show 50 times a week. Andy is a four letter word.

there was one last week with the dramatics, barbara mason and someone else. I wish they would get to some episodes with some groups singing songs that were played on the radio. but the last two weeks were pretty good. that poplocking to motown songs has got to go though. how about the one with whodini on it about three weeks back? nipsy

Wilson Pickett Betty Wright The Modulations looks like a 1975 episode.I think Betty is gonna sing "Tonight Is The Night" and "Where Is The Love".I have footage of this performance already, and the crowd goes nuts during the latter song.

I like the 70s episodes but this one's gonna take some good songs for the dancers to make up for those guests this week. They need to play the damn late 70s. Music was faster by then. I love the 70's episodes, the music, the dancing, and the ladies with those tight pants on showing off those curves, classic stuff ya'll!!
The early 80's episodes are good but some of the dancer's did too much posin for the camera's at times [Edited 4/14/07 10:56am]

Check out the episodes from 1980 and 1981. They still were getting off coming down the line. Andy is a four letter word.
