New Annie Lennox CD this year!!! http://www.billboard.com/...1003558663
Grammy-winning songwriter-producer Glen Ballard is putting the final touches on Annie Lennox's first album in four years, which will be released in the fourth quarter. "It's a very intense record," he says. "It's very personal to her. We spent a lot of time making sure the music was the way she wanted it." The former Eurythmics vocalist's previous set, "Bare" (J Records), her follow-up to 1995's "Medusa," debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 in June 2003.

Yep. It came out in Summer(June) 2003.
I remember it came out the same day as Luther's "Dance With My Father" CD.

Please God NOOOOO!!!!!
Please save me from Annie on the promo trail for her new album. I don't wanna see her smug, self important face every time I turn on the TV. She thinks she's a saint or Mother Teresa with her fake displays of compassion on a miriad of televised charity concerts.

In any case, I'm super excited for this as you can all imagine. I absolutely adore Bare and hope she brings the same intensity. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

She's totally modest and sweet!

I remember really loving "Bare"...can't wait for this new one but if it's almost done, why are we waiting until the fourth quarter?

Annie ruled in the 90's IMO. I love the Eurythmics but they sometimes were too far left and amelodic for my tastes. "Diva" and "Medusa" rule. I wish she would have toured during that decade for one of those albums.
"Bare"...love it and hate it. I feel like I need a Klonopin after listening to the first three tracks. Though "Honestly" and "Wonderful" are among her best ever. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I think that's the best Lennox solo effort. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!
