No but I use to see that one a lot. That's the one with "Two Hearts" right?

Yeah, that`s the one.
Here`s the track list:

Winner
Two Hearts
Don’t Stop Doin’ What ‘Cha Do
Top of My List
I Believe in Love Songs
Night Games
My Love’s Been Good to You
Magic

I have "Top of my list" and "I believe in love songs" on a cheap compliation. If the other tracks are as good as those two, i would definitely recommend it...

get outta here...I would have thought you'd sooner have your fingernails pulled out with pliers than listen to a metallica album.

TV on the Radio- Return of Cookie Mountain[/b]

this is a lock I have not yet been able to pick - the debut as well, for that matter. It sounds fine whenever I start to play it, but I cannot maintain my focus on this band over the course of an entire album. I'm more than willing to believe I just need to get in the right frame of mind, though.

I've always been intrigued by Jimi Hendrix. I've actually listened to the first 2 and quite like them, even if I don't understand the whole contextual picture. I may start a thread asking the org experts to weigh in. And you know I like Metallica!

Nope, I quite like what I know of Metallica, for what it's worth! lol I figure this is a good place for me to start, as it contains the highest number of songs I know.

I haven't listened to it fully yet, but I think I might quite like it.

Never! He used to even rank among my top 100 artists before I really had 100 artists to fully love. lol Perhaps I was afraid of it being from the 60s a bit, but I've never disliked Jimi Hendrix.

Before I knew about Bowie, The Stooges and The Velvet Underground, the trio of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Doors were the only artists I thought I'd like from the 60s.

Great guitar work and songwriting. "Hey Joe" is amazing. I think I prefer Axis: Bold As Love as a cohesive whole, but I quite like both, even if I don't fully understand them, if that makes any sense.

What do you mean by understand? It'll take awhile to break in any new album.

I don't quite have the context to understand the full impact of what I'm hearing. It's easy to listen 40 years later and say "Wow- this sounds really cool", but I don't know enough about the music from around the time to understand where it exactly fits. But I do quite like it so far.

I don't affect my enjoyment of it at all, but I know they are important albums and as such, I'm curious to understand the context.
