Looking for song title "Everybody's Beautiful"?

I just want to thank everyone in advance for the help. I love the Org because so many people know so many types of music so I'm hoping somebody can help me with this.

About 1997 or so there was this song by this guy who had a voice that kind of reminded me Edwin Collins (the "Never Knew A Girl Like You Before" guy) but I don't think it was him. It was played on the alt rock station...it was kind of a disco pop song but not from that era. The lyrics included "Everybody's Beautiful alright (tonight?)...Everybody's beautiful out of sight".

Holy crap on a cracker! I figured I would never get this. Thank you so much, Mara.

Not on Itunes. I think do I remember hearing the DJ saying the name of the song but I don't think I remember them every saying the band's name!

No prob. That's a really cool song. I was beginning to think I was the only one who remembered it. The original is great, but I most know the song for the Vission & Lorimer Utopia remix.

The track was a regional hit in both L.A. and Detroit and got played a lot on Power 106 back when there was a Deep House craze in Los Angeles in the mid-'90s. I think the song was so popular in SoCal because it was remixed by noted L.A dance DJ Richard 'Humpty' Vission (who hosted a popular weekly dance show called "PowerTools," he would spin this track a lot). And, also, got a lot of play on Michigan/Detroit-Area radio and clubs.

Charm Farm, I've later come to learn are natives of Michigan. There's a few articles on the band that were published around the height of the song/s popularity and offer some insight into the band and the Detroit Techno scene in the mid-90s.
