MTV's Jam of the week! For those that do not believe Hip Hop is dead...take a look at what MTV is cramming down it's viewers throats as the Jam of the Week. 2 Step by UNK. If that's not the perfect example of a modern day Minstrel show, I don't fucking know what is!!

ummm...yeah, that's NOT Hip Hop. You know that and I know that. However, the folks they are marketing this mess to, don't know that and there lies the problem. The question is...how do we save what we know as hip hop from the death grip that Shit Hop (Hiya VainAndy) and the record industry has it in?

Don't further promote said shit hop (wtf) by purchasing, downloading, or otherwise purveying it. 3. Help others who aren't in the know acknowledge that Hip Hop is as diverse as any other genre of music, with good, bad aand most assuredly UGLY sides to it. For starters.

On my morning commute both Steve Harvey and Russ Parr were commenting on this very topic with mix perspectives from their audience. Over all I'm over hiphop but I have kids at the target audience age. I for one feel lioke they need more diversity so I simply give it to them. I don't know what the result will be, but at least they will no what good music is. There are still some cats out there that can flow and have a message. I'll keep hope alive....

Nice line. I'll tag it by paraphrasing Frank Zappa... Hip-Hop is not dead, it just smells funny. ... tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

The only current proof that i have that hip hop is in serious need of an enema is the presence of boasters like Rich Boy and MIMS, IMO , two people who should have never been let into a studio unless they were delivering the pizza, they aren't qualified to call themselves MCs, and its sad that this is put out there for the lap dog pop fans to hear. I want to know what the hell this Mims nonsense is? Is this payola, or do people actually like this? (That's what I get for listening to mainstream radio at work for 10 minutes )

Me either. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
