I'm only planning to buy B'day's new edition...that album is one of my favorite guilty pleasure ones.

Also planning to buy Joss Stone's.

Hilary Duff...maybe...if she leaves the shit avril lavigne-esque sound away from this album

Paulina Rubio...I refuse to spend money on her. (I only digged "Paulina" and "Border Girl"...after that she lost her momentum!)

Jennifer Lopez maybe...I'm still angry with the copy protection that Rebirth had

From what i have heard about Hilary, the Avril sound is gone, believe it or not, outside of Joss, im most anxious about Hilary because of the sound change, she is working with Richard "Humpty" on this record, which right there shows a drastic change and a sign of growing up and leaving the Avril/Kelly clarkson sound behind.

She's "kylie-fying" her sound which his very nice imo. Your country really needs some good pop on the charts.

Yeah we really have nothing outside of PCD, and possibly Christina Aguilera. But we dont have anything like a "GirlsAloud" here, American Radio is a total waste. And even the releases i pointed out, though JLO and Hilary are getting videoplay neither gets any radio airplay with their current upcoming releases, which shows that radio really doesnt embrace something a little different.

I'm gonna get Bryan Ferry's 'Dylanesque' tomorrow but I'm a little worried... I LOVE him, but the reviews have been mixed (or the ones I've read). They've either been glowing or saying it's a bit pedestrian. Gullible consumer that I am, though, I'll still pick it up. rolleyes giggle

I haven’t been too thrilled by what I’ve heard of the new Fall album, but at this point I’m basically obligated to buy everything they release, so I’ll be picking up album #25 when it’s finally issued in North America at the end of the month.

The album cover is kind of an ugly piece of shit as well, pardon my language.

And the new High Llamas and Bill Callahan albums will be automatic purchases for me as well.

LCD Soundsystem and Modest Mouse. All perfectly hipster of me, but I was sold by each of their most recent albums.

I'm just waiting (impatiently) for the new Crowded House record. No album art yet...

I am looking forward to the debut album by Calvin Harris in June 2007. It is feeling like eternity because I'm loving "Acceptable in the 80s" "Vegas" "Merry Making" and "The Grrrrrls" all the tracks I've heard from this debut I. AM. LOVIN. So I'm just waiting for this album and this is the big record I want so far this year. Big ups to Andrea for the early warning. I am loving his sound and the vibe of his musik. He must tour the States! I will go bonkers.
