I can't lie I closed it too... but I've heard enough of The 7 Day Theory to pretty much figure out what the video was about. Sorry but Pac is dead... he's not in Cuba, he didn't resurrect after 7 years, he doesn't have any kids that he left behind and you should KNOW he is definitely dead becuse he didn't come back to put a stop to the track they mixed with him & Rhianna.

Is 2 pac actually any good? It doesn't take much talent to be recognised as a good actor these days. And heaven forbid, I haven't heard his music or rantings at all. I couldn't care less whether he was alive or dead.
Eastside, westside, whatever. These people have been killing each other for years, for money. Long b4 hiphop became trendy with teens hiphop must have been the dullest twist in popmusic history.

(Not in the same way as punk) It became a money spinner and that became the main motivation of a new generation of hh artists. Man, just look at the videos. what else is there worth knowing about it?.

Will u agree there's an unbelieveable amount of hh junk in the mainstream media. HH strongly champions a sickening overly materialistic attitude and, in my oppinion, causes a great deal of harm to the minds of very young people. Thanks shaedove99 I'll check that.

I belive Pac had talents with spoken word & the talent to move people whether the movement was thought provoking: Dear Mama, Brenda's Had a Baby, Soldier's Story... or anger: F-ck the World, Amerikkka ... or if you just wanted a dance groove: What'z Ya Phone #, Toss It Up, Me & My Girlfriend. If you ever got to hear him speak, he'd mention that a lot of what he said was his entertainment persona and he found it funny that people could tell a story in music but when he said it 'oh it must be true'.
Yes I think he got caught up toward the end but who knows how you may behave when you get shot & people are telling you that your so called friends knew who did it? I think Pac & Biggie both had too many "yes men" around them and hype men that helped drag out a beef that could have easily been squashed years before their deaths. Was he irresponsible? Yes. Was he lyrically talented? Yes. Did some of his stuff suck? Of course. But as a whole, he must have been pretty good because there are some big name people out there to this day that use whole verses from him & who still mimmick his style of rapping.

Yes, there is a lot of junk out there today, but Tupac is not included in that junk. It's not wise to generalize all hip hop into one thing. There are different styles/types of hip hop just like there is in any other musical genre. You're only seeing one type of hip hop. As far as his talents, I would say: 1. He's a great lyricist and writer with wonderful flow and knows how to get the message across. His music has a beginning and end 2. He's a good actor. I thought he was on his way to becoming great. I especially liked his performance in "Juice." 3. He was a captivating speaker. I loved hearing a speech or an interview

Tupac is dead, he's dead because he's an idiot and he thought it be a good idea to jump a gang member. Hours later he's shot to death in a drive-by shooting.
But that together mathatcians! lol and the moral of this story is.... If Suge Knight offers to bail you out of jail....JUST SAY NO!!!!! [Edited 3/5/07 1:49am]

I think p' oppinion of hh is clearly stated in the song "dead on it"
Prince never said anything to the press about is indifference 2 HH because he's a popstar, he needs 2 b mainstream appealing. P doesn't rap much ('n' badly when he does) because his heart isn't in it. I don't mean 2 annoy anyone with my views. Casting my humble oppinion into the stormy sea of confusion. He didn't actually die in 1996. 2Pac's death was staged and has proven to be one of the most successful moves in showbiz history. He is now retired and loving it. 2Pac is now a legend in a way that only one who is percieved to have died young can become a legend. Is he playing golf in Florida somewhere with Elvis?
