Damn i Really like this Hilary Duff song and looking forward to her "kylie" like CD

Well im hooked on this Hilary song, along with the new JLO spanish cd. I like her sound now, its very EURO and kylie like, something that is just missing in american pop today (well it doesnt really exist anyway). The cd is out April 3rd same day as Beyonce and Jennifer's all spanish record.

Im sure if she went to rehab or shaved her head more people would pay attention to her.....

I was trying to say...

I always thought of Hillary as a fake singer. She was the star of a kids' show who thought it would be fun to make a record. Poof, instant rock star.

Yeah i like the style and the look and the sound of the songs i have heard so far from the new record. Its very Euro, which is GREAT! because the USA needs something new right now to make it up! Plus she is respectable, plus not overexposed, i dont have to hear about her personal life and see her "lose it" if she did. But of course like i said, America might dig her more if she shaved her head or crashed her car while drunk.

I wouldnt go that far, I give her the benefit of the doubt because she is a "good" person. But if we think about it, Christina,Justin,Britney all were kids show stars. Im not saying Hilary is the vocal talent of Christina or even very musically interesting, but i do like the switch into the Euro/Dance genre because it suits her much better and doesnt seem "phony" that she does it. Now Avril Lavigne doing dance music on her new record, that is "phony".

I see what you're saying. I don't really like any of those other acts either.

I just get annoyed with Hilary because I don't think she has a very good voice at all. I feel like the record execs are trying to make something out of nothing with her.

No i hear what your saying, im not trying to push her as this major singer that will change the world, but i think for the genre she is going towards, Dance/Pop i think its a good match.

Yeah very true. I dont think Hilary sings awful, shoot their are tons of Pop stars who cant sing at all. I just like Hilarys style change with this record. Its so easy for someone like her who is growing out of her teen audience she is 20 now so the usual thing would be to "sex it up" but i like how shes not doing that, her music is getting more mature, but im not seeing her posing in Maxim with almost nothing on everytime a record comes out.
