Bobby Brown was arrested this past Sunday in Massachusetts for not paying child support. An offer was made yesterday where Hot 99.5 would pay $19,150.00 to release Bobby from jail in exchange for a weeks worth of work here at the radio station. We will have security, transportation, accommodations and everything to make Bobby feel like the star that he is. He accepted!

“We are really doing it for his children, we sympathize with Bobby and hope that this will give him a head start and will put him back on track”, said Kane.

The station is going to make a lot more than $19,000 in ad revenue once B. Brown hits the air waves. I can see how not only his notoriety, but his personality would liven up the airwaves and get people tuning in to check out his "high"jinks and shananigans. Imagine the promo's. The station will make a mint and Bobs kids'll get paid. Hes prob still got his own issues to deal with, but it seems like a win-win for everbody else involved.

It is an extremely poor comentary on the state of affairs when the ONLY reason the radio station is willing to "enable" Booby Brown, as was so well commented earlier, is so that their ratings can increase because of the exposure.

That station should take that 19,000 and help those who REALLY need it. If they are willing to part with their cash for some supposed noble reason I am sure they are many associations where they operate that would be more than happy to put that money to GOOD use and to help much more than one, undeserving person like Bobby. Sad, sad.....

I think it was sad that Bobby had to be arrested while watching his daughter's cheerleading performance at her high school His daughter must be soooo embarrassed by her dad being arrested in front of all her friends and all the other parents that were in attendance!
