JEWEL free from Warner Brothers

I love it, my hope is that all artists that can sing and write and play, just leave their labels already, its the only way things will change. Whether U like Jewel or not im all for artists leaving their labels. Jewel does still owe a record but im guessing WB will issue some sort of hits collection, since she said on TV last night she is off the label and doesnt plan on signing with a new one. One really good thing she last night was that "Im a singer/songwriter" there is no format for that on radio or anywhere else really.

Oh c'mon, there is still a huge radio market for "lite" music, which her old music is played on to this day.

I dont think so, at least not here, though i havent listened to the radio in a long time, she may get a little VH1 play but i doubt a Jewel song from any of the last few albums has gotten play.
