Wow little did I realize how much flak I would receive for not being a Beatles fan! But I should have expected it. I think the topic "Forget the Beatles what about Jamiroquai" was taken a little out of context. I was simply attempting to shed a little light on Jamiroquai who are in my opinion a great band out of England who don't get enough recognition. My remarks on the Beatles probably should have been a separate subject. Cause for those Beatles Freaks out there you are absolutely right. You can't compare the two. Not because there are so freaking great but because they are two different types of music. Apples and Oranges so to speak. But as far as the Beatles being overrated I stick to that opinion! And remember its an opinion, its not etched in stone. There is not one Beatles song that has ever caught my attention and I simply was in awe of. As far as pioneers....pffft. If you say so.
