I feel really sorry for her. This is what the media and the American public have turned her into. The media bashes people like Britney, and then wonder why they do things like this.

So, this is what a nervous breakdown looks like. I actually feel sorry for this girl. All the money, fame, success, and the babies she soo wanted; yet she seems miserable and lost. The saddest part of this all seems to be that she is her own worst enemy. She still has a large fanbase that supports her and will lick up anything she puts out, but she's partying herself into an early grave. She needs to do what Demi Moore did and just disappear for a couple years, so she can figure out who she is and what's best for her. Sad to say, but maybe K-Fed should get custody. Or, I could be totally wrong about all of this and she's just trying to make a new image for herself as the new Sinead 'O Connor. Either way, I really don't want to turn on the news and see the headlines I saw about Anna Nicole Smith passing.

Oh brother....I thought she was in rehab? I hope she's not having a nervous breakdown.

I can't completely blame the media for this. Partial blame should go to Britney for her own self-destruction. Unlike a lot of people, I refuse to make excuses for her, because she's not a child. She's a grown ass woman who needs to take responsibility for her mistakes and bad actions, instead of blaming the media when she gets caught with her pants down. I will admit that the media needs to leave the girl alone a bit, but I'm sure that Britney has people in her life who are telling her to slow down and she's choosing not to listen. I also feel sorry for her, but I've come to realize that there are two types of people in this world...those who learn the easy way and those who learn the hard way. Unfortunately, Britney seems to be one of those who learns the hard way. She's going to have to fall flat on her face to learn. Sadly, she seems to be surrounded by "Yes" people at the moment, who obviously only care about her because she makes money. When they've broken her and she fades away, they'll just find someone else to take her place, something that she really needs to realize. Her fans and family need to realize that you can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves (speaking from personal experience). She really needs some tough love right now and not a bunch of people saying, "Poor Britney, the media is soo mean to you." Anyone who lets the media affect them this much obviously doesn't need to be in the entertainment business.

they say shaving your hair-dooo especially if its long is a good way to get rid of old energy and you can start a new. my girl doin it "legend billie of jean" style for the 07' fresh!

If "bashing her" means that I don't make excuses for things that she does that I don't agree with, then I guess you can say that I'm "bashing" her. Like many people, I have an opinion of her and because my opinion doesn't have "I Luv Britney" all over it, I guess that means I'm "bashing" her. Either way, I'm still not a fan of hers, but I do want to see her get her life together for the sake of her sons. They deserve a happy and healthy mom.

That woman is depressed she needs help; help from those who truly love her not help from the butt licking media hungry star struck leaches.

next thing we know is that she'll be tearing the Pope's picture at Saturday Night Live.....

so, she just shaved her head, big deal!

It's another publicity stunt...a part of her comeback. It keeps her name in the press while she works on her album.

1 - How is the media responsible for the mess Britney seems to be in? The media can certainly exacerbate an illness that is already there, but it's not going to create one.

2 - Why does a haircut = crazy? Crotch flashing? Sure, okay. Stripping half naked from club to club and barfing in public? Yeah, maybe. A haircut? No.

I fuckin LOVE it! Maybe she can open for NIN on their next tour
