YAY to the original by The Supremes

Also, YAY to the cover version by Sweet Sensation, a great freestyle classic:

Tony I got "The #1s" compilation that was released in 2004. I've had Love Child in repeat constantly. Still I can't get Janet's "You want this" out of my head. It sucks when they sample the tune and polute future listenings of the original song! lol

Interesting fact. From looking at my mother's vinyl copy of love child,
the last song on the album can't shake it loose was written by none other
than the funk daddy himself george clinton. I am not sure whether or not it
was originally done by his doo wop group called the parliaments. Someone else
could answer that. Yay, Love Child is a classic supremes album as well as
reflections.
Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I think that song was later re-done into a Parliament album. I read that somewhere.

It's so wierd...But I never cared much for "If" it's my least favorite Janet tune. Very overrated by her gay fans
