I agree I still have my original cassette. I want the cd though. Even though they got outed and I got pissed I still kept the cassette, heck the songs are good to listen to. I found this used cd recently (excellent condition) at a cd store that sells new and used. Got it for $8.00 - it was pressed in Germany Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! I always found it funny that even though they weren't really singing, more people didn't stop and give credit to the people who were?
Shucks! Give those folks the Grammy! they made some great pop tunes If you will, so will I

Really? That's interesting. Here in the U.S., the album spawned 4 hit singles ("Girl You Know It's True," "Baby Don't Forget My Number," "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You," and "Blame It on the Rain"). Actually, the title track was the only one that failed to reach #1; it peaked at #2. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Damn that sucks hard. So what will they use for the new "movie" to base the sound off of? A cd on ebaby? Seriously. I'm actually the movie is going forward, because it seems the labels want people to forget Milli Vanilli ever happened. The CDs are all out of print, except from some obscure/really hard to find new Greatest Hits CD, so I'm surprised they will allow their memory to come to the forefront with a movie. Hmmm

I loved Milli Vanilli's singles at the time. "Girl You Know It's True" was a pop classic and "Blame it on the Rain" was a monster jam. The thing is, I am not really a music fan who ever cared about image. If a song is good, I like it, I don't really care what the person who sings it looks like. If Milli came out now, it wouldn't even be an issue because music videos are a mostly dead genre. You don't need to look good to have a hit single these days. Hell, you don't even need to necessarily have a good song as long as you meet the right demographic. All good things they say never last...

What's funny is that after the controversy broke out, They sung "Girl You Know It's True" on the Arsenio Hall show. And they were really good. I still don't understand why they were'nt allowed to sing on their own albums period. BTW, My favorite MV song is "Don't Forget My Number".and i think people DESERVED to be be fooled into thinking Rob & Fab were the real singers...if people would enjoy the MUSIC and not care about what the singers look like or how old they are then something like this would have never happened as it turned out many fools who had enjoyed this album were upset and actually tried to get their money back heck i would like to see this album re-released

Um, in my recollection they sucked pretty bad when they sang on Arsenio. And their single "We Can Get it On" was...um, really really bad. Yeah, they should have brought out the actual singers but I think they were exiled to Spain or something. All good things they say never last...

Actually Fab was a pretty talented singer on the Rob & Fab album. He seemed to be doing his best Michael Jackson impression at times, especially during the "woo-hoo" ab libs. Loved it.

Sorry to say, but Clive Davis & Sony/BMG would never allow this album to be remastered or released. Hell, I wouldn't be surprise if the masters were destory already.

They already did, which is probably the most short-sighted decision in the history of the music business (how's that for hyperbole?). Seriously, who deletes the masters of an album featuring 3 #1 hits (and an even more famous #2)? I believe it is still the highest-selling album to be out of print.
