New Michael Jackson-collaboration with Temperamental - not bad! I hope it hasnĀ“t been posted here before, but I thought some of you might be interested in this track. Not bad - in my opinion.

Don't even bother. I posted it here a couple of days ago and it got trashed. I think it's a decent song, and MJ's vocals are killer! But I think no matter how good of a song he puts out, no one will acknowledge it because they are so obsessed with his personal life.

It's Tempamental, and he's a DJ and a rapper. As far as I know he's relatively new to the scene. He's not the only rapper in the song either. Pras from the Fugees is in it too.

I liked the song. Michael sounded great on it. I just hope that it gets the credit it deserves.

Well it's been getting radio play on British and Dutch radio, and Kiss FM. The comments seem to be good from the DJ's who've played the song. Most of the comments are along the lines of "Michael sounded great but I wasn't too keen on the rappers". And also, "Glad to see Michael getting back into music". [Edited 2/16/07 7:20am]

This is exactly why Michael has lost me. His Music just has no identity anymore, why cant he just do his own thing, why guest Rappers and producers to layer his tracks with nonsense. I said it before and I'll say it again, Michael just needs to do a 9track 45 minute album of nothing but Michael, his own writing and producing. No guests, no Will I am, No Pras, no Busta ryhmes no Teddy Riley or Pharrel,. Dont give us another 18 track 80 minute mess. It's not his song. He's only singing the hook. I really like his vocals here. The production actulally sound like something he would have produced himself back in the day. And prettymanson, there is not a "whoo" or "hee" to be found. What song were you listening to?
As a collaboration, I think its cool. He's doing for this song what he did for "Somebody's Watching Me." Who heard of Rockwell before that? And who's heard from him since? Exactly. [Edited 2/16/07 9:05am] Michael never stopped!

I don't dig when legendary artists continuously pair up with these 'color-by-numbers-rappers' (not even the good ones) to garner hits with this tone deaf society, but I'm a fair person so I'll listen to the song before judging it. If you will, so will I

His vocals on this track are standout because he doesn't rely on those "signatures," for the most part. It's all about his pure tone and deft use of multi-tracking. If anything, the vocals sound like early-to-mid-80's MJ, which is great (though I still think his all-time best vocals can be heard on the Jacksons' albums of the late 70's.) My favorite part of "Gangsta" is that longish note he sings during the rapping. That's classic MJ right there. Michael never stopped!
