Madonna's greatest dance songs (you can only pick five)

What are your favorite Madonna dance songs? Pick only five lol These are mine:

1.Deeper And Deeper (1992)---This is my all-time favorite Madonna dance track.Taken from the 'Erotica' album, which just happens to be my favorite Madonna album. This track has it all...deep bass, infectious chorus, even a flamenco guitar break that is reminiscent of the 70s disco era.
2.Into The Groove (1985)---Who could ever forget this song? Only when I'm dancing can I feel this free...At night,I lock the door when no one else can see...I'm tired of dancing here all by myself...Tonight I wanna dance with some one else. This was the dance music anthem of the summer of '85.
3.Get Together (2005)---With 'Confessions On A Dancefloor',Madonna re-connected with the dance music crowd with thrilling results."Get Together" is the best track on the album. With spacey, echoing synths surrounding her,Maddy promises to "make you feel better" and points out that "If it's bitter at the start, then it's sweeter in the end".She lives up to that promise. This track is pure bliss.
4.Music (2000)---I've always considered this song to be some sort of tribute to the early 80s electrofunk era.It reminds me of songs like "Freak-A-Zoid" by Midnight Star. It's become a concert favorite.
5.Express Yourself (1989)---The best of her late-80s dance hits, this song is classic. The bass-heavy remix version takes this song to new heights.

Swap Get Together for Lucky Star. Otherwise, I'm in agreement. I've never loved the album version of Express Yourself, but that remix is hot!

I was going to post the 1989 MTV VMA performance but it's disappeared from youtube since MTV's threat to sue. confused

"Get Together" kills "Lucky Star" lol

She did a fun version of "Lucky Star" on the 'Confessions' tour

It's still not one of my favorite songs, though.I'm one of the few fans who thinks that her first album is overrated boxed

Into The Groove (for me this is quintessential early Madonna - her best early song)
Vogue (I know she ripped it off - but this song gave a generation of gays across the world and excuse to pose their way across a dancefloor)
Deeper & Deeper (Her most underrated single???)
Music (Mainly for the electro funk beat, and Mirwais insane synth at the end. Oh and also for including the phrase "Music makes the bourgeoisie and the rebel")
Everybody (Original 12") - The song that started it all. As danceable today as it was 25 years ago.

WHY ONLY FIVE????
Express Yourself, Holiday, Lucky Star, Hung Up, Get Together, Jump, Sorry, so many more to choose from.

I know, but I want everyone to pick the five dance songs that they think are truly the best.I'm forcing you to narrow your lists down to the best tracks. It's a challenge, isn't it? lol

Moonbeam tried to cheat by labeling "best" and "favorite." He's just skirting the rules! biggrin

Okay, is "All Star" the remix that begins, "I said one for the money, two for the show, my baby's got a secret..." - because THAT is my favorite "Secret" remix. I also think "Secret" (the album version) is Madonna's strongest single to date.

I also love the remix of "Human Nature," the one that echoes the "true" in "Did I say something true (true)," and the "wrong" in "Did I say something wrong (wrong)." LOVE that remix!!

(Note: And I don't care for any of the mixes or dubs of "Into The Groove," because they cut out the harmony bits, and those are my favorite parts of the original!)

Surprising that it did NOTHING in the charts. In fact, I think that because it did not doo well as the reason for there not being 5 singles released.
