It's time for a Joe Jackson thread!

Isn't it?
I see him hardly mentioned in here - unfortunately. I think the guy was great.

His debut "Look Sharp" is nearly flawless, and I enjoy every bit of Night And Day... just great.

I still look forward to get the reissue of Look Sharp, cause I think the first cd issue sounds somewhat horrible, unfortunately. I do have the 2001 reissue of Night And Day, but will go for the deluxe edition (that has portions of the Mikes Murder soundtrack as bonus).

I think (correct me if I am wrong!) that the four albums to have are:
- Look Sharp! (kk, a no brainer wink )
- I'm The Man (I only know "It's different for girls" that I really like a lot)
- Night And Day
- Body And Soul

- the Live album "Live 1980/86" is said to be pretty good. I think I'm the Man has been reissued, too, but I am not sure about Body and Soul (help appreciated!)

Some of the other songs are covered by "Steppin' Out" (a 15 track best of comp)

The Jumpin Jive swing etc. album will not do much for me, I fear.
How about Big World (1986) and Will Power? Are they good?

Finally, 2 vids...

Real Men (really nice!):

Steppin' Out vid has been removed from youtube it seems. confused
