I still couldn't get into "Little Boy Bluse" for some reason. Maybe it'll grow on me later.

yes... "Little Boy Blue" is my everything you'd probably like "Close The Door"/"Earth Song" from Ask Rufus "Smoking Room" from Rags To Rufus "Blue Love"/"Stranger To Love" from Street Player Thank you I`ve listened to samples of the albums, and "Street player" sounds best...

SISTER!!! I know, I know Everything about that song is weird! I don't know if its the rhythm or the lyrical context. Thats Chaka's fave song from the album,,,and she said that its a nod to her hero Ms.Joni Mitchell. I found her taste of her own music quite intriguing and most of the time like mine(esp her considering the song Caught In The Act, the best cut in from the 'I feel 4 u] album). Somehow, our tastes clashed with "Little Boy".

This is semi-related, but it's appreciation nonetheless.
I remembere there was a show called Hits From The Street on BET. Basically it was BET's answer to The Tom Green Show. And there was a segment with a guy named Hits on the streets of D.C. and he came across some transsexual hooker singing "Ain't Nobody" at the top of her lungs while on the stroll. I loved it! lol It was classic. Wish I could see it again. ... [Edited 2/12/07 13:48pm]

>>>>><<<<< WOWZER... when I was reading the book I was into that I Feel For You album and "Caught In The Act" has always been my favorite from there (alongside "Chinatown" & "La Flamme") you could hear it all in her voice on that record, how much she loved it I find the rhythm a lil tricky on "Little Boy Blue" also but that's all the more reason to love it (for me) [Edited 2/12/07 11:57am] because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
