just got my hands on videofootage of d's performance at the free jazz fest 2000 in sao paulo, brazil. damn. this guy is unbelievable what a show! more than two hours of pure funk. you can certainly see james brown and prince influences all over the place. but this man is something else. what a show! peace.

You are so lucky. I love D, but what's up with him? Only 2 albums released. He better get his ass back out there or people will soon forget about him. I have both cd's and listen to them often. I can't wait for his next rellease.
