I enjoyed a few of their grunge/alternative period songs. If you're expecting the same thing old sound, well, it's gone! The song is pretty good, very Coldplay.

The singer now looks like a mix between George Michael and Timberlake. The drummer looks like Bonham.

omfg. i still remember listening to their album frogstomp,
the one with the green frog on it, lol, after school back
in 1995 or 1996.

same time as Weezer burst onto the scene with their blue
album.

man, "my name is jonas" and "suicidal dream" were two of
our fav songs at that time.

they've changed a lot though, omg lol. they're like all eh
grown up and stuff now

I happen to like the "newer" Silverchair.
I really dug Diorama their last album as well as the Daniel side project The Dissociatives.
Their new song Straight Line, sounds like an extension of the aformentioned albums. I'm really looking forward to this new release.
Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.
