"I've Got the Baddest Jams Around" -- EGYPTIAN LOVER DEDICATION THREAD

In 1984, this Los Angeles-area DJ and member of Uncle Jam's Army created one of the signature songs of the electro-funk movement, "Egypt, Egypt." He followed it up with a steady diet of drum programmed grooves and ladies-man persona and dominated the clubs for the next six years.
THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

I'm working on burning an Egyptian Lover CD with the following jams:

"Egypt, Egpyt" (classic version)
"What Is a DJ If He Can't Scratch" (original version)
"And My Beat Goes Boom" (extended version)
"Computer Love (Sweet Dreams)"
"Girls"
"Dial-A-Freak"
"You're So Fine"
"Freak-a-holic"
"A Strange Place (A Leezby Inn)"
"I Need a Freak" (his version of the Sexual Harrassment classic)
"Egpyt, Egypt" (On the Nile version)

I'm looking to add maybe three more songs once I decide which jams I want

Prince.org member 100MPH dedicated a very interesting thread to the Egyptian Lover not too long ago . He also posted some rare footage and pics of rare vinyl there and talked about his trip to L.A where he met him on his birthday. That was a fascinating read, especially with the very personal pictures.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
