Brian Eno Producing New Coldplay Album

In an interview with Kristy Lang on BBC Radio 4's Front Row program today, producer/musician/artist/god Brian Eno revealed that he is producing the next Coldplay album. "I think [the album] will be very original and very different from what they've done before," Eno said.

their sound needs to change this album.. so i'm glad he's givin them some help on it..

Does what I'm thinking even need to be said, or is everyone else already thinking it too?

And maybe they haven't worked with Brian Eno before, but I doubt it will make that big of a change from their current sound.

And lets not forget the pioneers of this "sound" that has been so over-used in the american market.....




Of course we know the "Beautiful Day" story where U2 says they took the "Touch me" from a-ha, as a friendly "theft". On a-Ha's last album they used FLOOD and now are working with Steve Lillywhite on their next one, ane we all now how much Coldplay has gotten from a-Ha's sound, not to mention bands like Snow Patrol and Keane which are basically impersonating them at this point.

nah.. i was thinking more on radiohead terms..


but whatever... i'm just glad they are doin something else.. regardless of anything.. Chris Martin is talented
