Glad to hear they're back together. I wonder how long it'll last though. I saw Eddie Van Halen on the cover of a guitar mag recently. He looked horrible.

Being that Alex VH can't stand David, obviously they need the bread. Which of course, there is nothing wrong with that. The o.g. line-up of Van Halen is an all-time fave of mine. One of the best rock bands of the late 70's and mid 80's. If bands like The Eagles and Fleetwood and KISS can put aside serious drama issues and reform the o.g. lineup to cash in, VH would be crazy not to do it as well. There are thousands of hardcore VH fans who favor the original lineup and would pay top dollar to see them live. Personally, I think it's waaaay too late to generate interest from me to go see them. Unless they played a surprise gig at the House of Blues on Sunset. THAT I would go see.

I wonder if the Van Halens are trying to "force his hand" by publicly announcing the tour, then if he doesn't agree (with Michael Anthony not being there and the Van Halen family hour.) the Van Halens will blame Dave in the press.

Wolfgang has been playing bass for less than a year. How good can he be? I realize that the Running With the Devil bass line only has one note, but still.

The whole thing sounds retarded to me, (not saying that it won't happen) but get real. Dave hasn't done anything forever he is pretty much wash, using Wolfgang instead of Mike rediculous. It seems Eddie can only get along with family members, maybe he and Val should have had one more kid and trained it to sing then the incest Van Halen band could have been complete.
