I mean,it's not Oscar-worthy or anything,but I don't think it's nearly as bad as the critics said.It's a fun little film that takes you back to the 80s.I really enjoyed several scenes.The only problem is....the DJ guy who plays Mariah's love interest.There was NO chemistry there at all.She really should have chosen a better co-star,perhaps someone that was well-known? They should have made him wear a mullet. I didn't really believe his hair was from the `80s. | |

The soundtrack was fierce though... Mariah did a pretty cool job with capturing the NY club sound/vibe around that time... Also, any film with Ann Magnuson is alright with me. | |
