I never heard a complete album from him, but You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) and Do You Wanna Funk gets me groovin' 'til this day.
More than anything I loved Sylvester's natural comfort in his own skin (vs. the bravado of artists today)...the way he flaunted who he was and made no apologies was admirable. I was actually disappointed when he died. He had a powerful presence and I'm almost sure he could have been just as much of a "diva" as Elton John. I'll know 4 sure once I purchase some of his records...just did a search on CDNOW...didn't even know he had that many releases and I'm even moreso surprised that they're not out of print. Must be some good stuff. Thanx 4 the renewed interest. PEACE | |
