PrintableThe thing about Lenny is, he has a pleasing voice, especially on the Mama Said album, and authentically reproduces a lot of great soul music without ever adding anything particularly original to the idiom.
He's not the greatest songwriter, especially when it comes to lyrics, but he has made some genuinely pleasing recordings in his time, at least to these ears. | |
