To the ridler:
I'd love to play some riddles with someone from the country of Celine Dion!

Actually, one of the few 45s that I can ever find from the janet. era is "Throb" (For Jukeboxes or DJs) and she performed it on SNL.

Throb is one of my favorite Janet songs ever. I can play this song over and over again and never get tired of it. That was the song where I knew I was listening to a different Janet than the one that was on Rhythm Nation and Control and I liked it. I need to listen to it tonight! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Again, was a HUGE hit for her and gave the album a "3rd wind." I understand if u don't like it though. A different type of "pop" ballad for Janet, her first in that vein, (as oppossed to the sexy slow jams) then came Every Time, etc. I'd take of What'll I Do if i had to cut a song off, or New Agenda w/Chuck D. (it' belonged on Rhythm with the message it had)

The hot type of shit Janet should be doing now. Just funk it out as opposed to phoning it in.....

I actually thought this was sorta of what 20YO would consist of with hints and accents referencing Control. Again, I believed the whole dance album hype and thought she was going to go a little harder with it. Throb and All Nite is probably the closest thing she's done to dance/club music that wasnt remixed. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Great song from a bloated Janet album. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

IMO All 4 U is a rip off, half assed attempt at recreating "janet." There's four songs trying to be "Anytime Anyplace." I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

There's four songs trying to be "Anytime Anyplace." ... and she's been trying to recreate Throb with every single one of her whispering/groaning groan-along groin grabbers. Well thats it exactly, Janet alienated her fan base, the DANCE/POP base, and she went with watered down-over produced RB, I understand experimenting and trying different things, but Janet let alot of her fan base go by doing this. You won't find songs as dire as "What'll I Do", "Funky Big Band" or worse, "The Body That Loves You" (the worst song of her career) on All for You! I know I'm fighting a losing battle here, but I love All for You. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Get out. If he's not a fan then whyd he bother to work with her on anything other than a remix? Guess he thought he could do better. Guess he was wrong. Guess he was wrong. he wanted to get credit for bringing her back after nipplegate.when i read that he said he was never really into her music and 'all for you' is his favorite janet album i basically knew what to look forward to. i like the album but his tracks are my least favorites (except with you, which is clearly a jam/lewis track)
