Joe Cocker - "The Letter"

I fully expect this one to sink (as do many of my topics lol)

His cover of The Letter has got to be one of the best examples of a dynamic departure from the original material. I like the Box Tops original recording, but for me this is the definitive version. Here's a fantastic live clip of it. It's all about those funky horns! I could be wrong, but something tells me he's on a substance or two...
