Are disco music and horror movies a match made in Heaven or what? Have you ever noticed that a lot of late 70s/early 80s horror movies include some
classic disco scenes? My favorite, "The House on the Edge of the Park" is so cult that it can't be found online, but I did manage to track down the brilliant dance sequence in Prom Night! The choreography is so awful that it is a great thing to behold! Let's show 'em what we can do... If I'm to be murdered brutally some day, there better damn well be a good disco song playing. I can attest to this! And I listened to "Prom Night" on a mix disc this very day.

Prom Night was one of the first films I ever saw as a child. My aunt wold take me to these movies where a dollar fifty would get you a couple horror movies and a kung fu flick. Needless to say my head is fucked up, but I love horror movies, hate disco. | |
