or the album by that chick from Who's The Boss rolleyes

I'll have to check my facts, but I seem to recall reading that one of her albums kept Madonna out of the #1 spot in Japan. lol Sounds too good to be true.

Oh hell yeah. I don't care about sales, but she was huge in Japan apparantly. U laugh, but her last 2 albums are great and better then anything Madonna did at that time.

Anyway, "she ain't worth it" is one of the best Bobby related songs.

Yeah. But by 8th grade I had mostly switched over to CD's. I got my very first player for Christmas '89 during my 8th grade year. biggrin

I dunno. It was well over a year ago if I'm not mistaken. Or maybe I thought about doing it? I'm pretty sure there was a thread by that name though. lol

Neneh had a few hits here, but she was never as popular as she should have been. Both the albums that were released here were superb (as was Man).

I got her debut (i assume its her debut) recently, after seeing a few of her videos on vh1. "man child" has a trippy cheap ass video. I love it. Nenah seems real. Not fussed with image etc...

They're a bit of a guilty pleasure I know, but I grew up on Aerosmith and still love 'em, despite how cool it is to hate them.

"Buffalo Stance" and "Expression" by Salt N Pepa were the first songs I learned to rap all the way through. giggle

In my Hall of Fame. One of the greatest hip-hop albums ever, IMHO.

Y'all really want to make me date myself, huh?

1. Synchronicity -- The Police
2. A.J. Scratch/8 Million Stories -- Kurtis Blow
3. "Lady Cab Driver" -- Prince

And whatever was on the radio at the time.

At around 7/8 years old, this was my first rock album I think LOL. I now love this soft rock/AOR, but for many years, this was considered crap by me (ages 10-16). I don't love the album, but Robert "mutt" lange knows how to produce a slick, HUGE sounding record.
