Weezer Appreciation Post Though it doesn't always work as well as it could (the moments where they do are genius, see "Buddy Holly"), Weezer has to be the best thing to come out of the college rock playlist....or maybe it's just the heavy rotation of their stuff on this morning's Ipod shuffle.
Any of you have a fondness for nerd rock? Everything old is new again...

I love Weezer. Although I kinda stopped listening with "Maladroit".
"Pinkerton" is one of the best albums of the 90's.

I like them. Although I couldn't even listen to their last album though. Didn't they break up? "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

I think it's more like an indefinite leave.

I have both Blue Album and Pinkerton. Wonderful collections of songs. The closer, "Butterfly", on the latter, nearly moved me to tears.
The only post-Pinkerton song I've heard is "Beverly Hills". God-awful. I have my sister's copy of Green Album but I'm a little wary of it.

The Green Album is pretty cool, but it took me a while to like it actually. It's worth it for "Island in the Sun" though. One of the only Band's music I bought on my attraction to nerds. I mean really
That being said The the last cd sucked monkey balls. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.
