I like the ones where she struts around on insanely high heels with her breasts pushed up front for everybody to see. And by albums I mean music videos.

"Rainbow" has its highlights. "After 2night," "Petals" and "Did I Do That?" 4 xample. And there r weak tracks, but not bad tracks like on "The Emancipation of Mimi" ("Say Somethin'," "Get Ur Number" & "To the Floor" - worst MC songs EVER). Rainbow is hot.

1.butterfly
2.the emancipation of mimi 3.glitter(it was a good soundtrack,i remember stupid reviews stating how the lp sounded like it was from the 80's and how that took away from it...which is really fuckin stupid because the movie was set in the 80s and so it should have sounded like that) 4.daydream 5.#1s

Now as a Mariah fan from day one, actually even before that i should say. I have always felt MC was "Good" album artist but never had that "IT" album where i would have to throw it in and listen to it straight through without thinking. Im not really sure why she hasnt been able to do that, but i think its mainly becuase she sticks to a formula most of the time, and now her albums are getting so produced and filled with guests that they are becoming nothing more Hit albums today, but not ones i will listen to years from now. Which is strange because she is one of my fave artists, and all of fave artists have albums that i can pick up at any time and listen to straight through. If there was one album i would like Mariah to pattern a formula after it would be Barry Manilow's 1979 "One Voice" (now dont laugh, just listen) this album came out at the near end of the disco era, but Barry and longtime producer Ron Dante, pulled off a record that was "timely" but didnt lose Manilow his "Ballads" fan base. On the album Manilow opened it with "One Voice" which was actually 40 voices accapella, however it was Manilow singing the vocals 40 different ways on sperate tracks to make it sound as "One", now i would kill for Mariah to do an accapella track to open a CD. The rest of this cd mixed in Ballads, and Funk Dance Disco tracks and one real retro track. Now I know from "Glitter" that Mariah knows the Funk and Disco era, but she needs to bring that forward, do a few good dance tracks, and when i say Dance tracks, i dont mean Timbaland/Pharrel/JD Production, i mean DANCE music. Also i would LOVE to hear Mariah get a band on her albums, do some LIVE studio tracks, imagine her doing some RB or even something Rockier, but with a Band behind her, live, and it should sound Live not slick and produced. And last but not least MC has always on occasion done a cover, almost one per album at times, i actually dont have a problem with her covers (except for The Beautiful Ones) but i think MC could really pull off Donna Summers "Love To Love You Baby", now i know Gwen Stefani and Beyonce have both kinda done this song, but Mariah to me is the only one that could pull this one off, both Gwen and Beyonce's version were just a little too forced and honestly werent Sexy at all, totally missing the theme of that song. So Mariah, please, before you throw together another JD/Pharrel/Busta/Snoop parade, pick up Manilows "One Voice" and blow us away for once with an album. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Yes, "STAY THE NIGHT" is incredible definitely 1 of the greatest songs on The Emancipation of Mimi but I think he's overrated. I'd love 2 hear Mariah doing a record like Charmbracelet again... but better.
