Apparently not.

As much as some of us tried, we were unable to save "Kooks" this time around.

It's a fun little song. But the truth is, we're getting down to the meat and potatoes of this record. I have no idea what will go next.

This round I'm going to let go through to Monday since I know this place slows down on the weekends.

The thing that's gonna be really tricky with that one is whether to include stuff like "Future Legend" and "Chant of the blah blah blah" as their own tracks or part of other songs. And what about "Candidate" or the reprise of "Sweet Thing". Oh, the possibilities!

Personally I'd probably give it a pass. Most people don't know it, and even fewer know it well. plus it was just a stop-gap release, really, though it was an enjoyable one. I just don't see it being part of the ... errm Bowie canon, or at least not a major part - more of a footnote.
