I don't know that story. I do know that Changes I've Been Going Through is one of her best. On certain days, it's my absolute favorite of hers. Minimalist and effective. Very haunting. | |

It ´s one of my favorite songs, on repeat in my kitchen all the time.
I don´t remember any lines about guns though . " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

listening to What's The 411? in between Chaka & Rufus all weekend "Changes I've Been Going Through" has to be the point when I fell in love with the woman I would hear my sister playing this song over & over & over again when I got older & recognized the pain I fell in love even more with the song it gives me that same vibe as "I Love You" from My Life about the crazy boyfriend pulling gun on her we've all been there I have because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." | |
