PrintableMaybe I'm just one lazy asshole but doesn't it seem Madonna needs to just take a break? I'm mean she just adopted a new baby, finished off a helluva a year with a massive tour. Girl is going to drop dead if she doesn't take it easy. I have a roommate who's in a band and let me tell you touring is fucking hard, even if you're doing in it in the lap of luxury.
Now, I love Madonna. I became a convert after seeing her live shows but the woman needs to go away, take some time and create something new...not something borrowed, or trendy, something. Her own sound, maybe?

Now, I love Madonna. I became a convert after seeing her live shows but the woman needs to go away, take some time and create something new...not something borrowed, or trendy, something. Her own sound, maybe? She's right on Schedule her only real big break was between Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light, but Evita was there at the regular interval. Confessions is right under those 2. well, i agree with the first two but confessions is one of my least favorites...a disappointment along the lines of AL and Music...and it wasn't the musical style which i had issue with (which was my initial beef) its the lack of songwriting craft. whatever style she chooses i want her to remember the melody. but alas that probably would entail her hooking back up with patrick leonard.
