U2 - Achtung Baby
REM - Automatic For the People Depeche Mode - Violator Pearl Jam - No Code Pet Shop Boys - Behavior ...but The Joshua Tree belongs right there with Achtung Baby as my joint #1. To me, they're like opposite sides of a coin; even though they sound completely different, and their themes are absolutely unrelated, they sort of encapsulate my taste in music. As much as I love the rocky, rootsy Joshua Tree, I also love the dirty, electronic Achtung. If that makes any sense at all... it might just be disjointed rambling I'm the first mammal to wear pants. | |
