yeah i know that album is not a masterpiece per definitionem...

during the last days I cleaned up my whole music+mp3 library and came across it again, and since then I listen to it several times a day...
so, currently it is in my top 5, since I enjoy it as much as I never did before wink

London Calling--The Clash
Songs in the Key of Life--Stevie Wonder
Nevermind--Nirvana
Are You Experienced--Jimi Hendrix

Barely one song on all of those together that I'd ever skip!

U2 - Achtung Baby
REM - Automatic For the People
Depeche Mode - Violator
Pearl Jam - No Code
Pet Shop Boys - Behavior

...but The Joshua Tree belongs right there with Achtung Baby as my joint #1. To me, they're like opposite sides of a coin; even though they sound completely different, and their themes are absolutely unrelated, they sort of encapsulate my taste in music. As much as I love the rocky, rootsy Joshua Tree, I also love the dirty, electronic Achtung. If that makes any sense at all... it might just be disjointed rambling lol
