Did Hendrix Record Welsh National Anthem? From NME ( http://www.nme.com/news/j...drix/25610 )
Eight track believed to contain version of 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau' A recording of what is believed to be Jimi Hendrix doing a version of the Welsh national anthem 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau' has sufaced. A psychedelic interpretation of the track was discovered in a forgotten tea chest when producer Dave Chapman was sorting through tapes in his Crouch Hill studio in London. The eight track recording by the New Flames contained the distorted version the Welsh national anthem, also known as 'Land Of My Fathers'. New Flames bassist Viv Williams had known Hendrix well and lived round the corner from the studio. The recording's owner Martin Davies is keen to establish the authenticity of the recording. Davies said: "We would know exactly who made the recording if we could find Viv Williams. He must be about 64 years old. If anyone knowws his whereabouts, please let us know." You can hear the version of the anthem at http://thereddragonhood.c...pical.html a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

According to some of the old heads over at the fender discussion forum who've listened to it, it sounds NOTHING like Hendrix. [Edited 1/3/07 17:50pm] My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

From one of the "old heads" here, I don't think it does either.
