Dear god Madonna, around the time that clip was shot, you couldn't get away from Metallica if you wanted to - their music was all over freaking MTV, awards shows, the radio, etc... How could she NOT name a few of their songs? LOL. | |

Back when Madonna was still cool but slightly restrained. Smart and witty...When she was awesome. It all changed a year or so later. If only she was still that Madonna, you know? | |

I miss that Madonna... Madonna from the Erotica/Bedtime Stories was the best Madonna era!!! Damm Kabalah! Yes! She was making great music, despised by the mainstream, edgy but not acting a fool. Smart as a fucking whip and still sexy. Damn Kaballah, damn "Evita" and I'm going to say it...damn Lourdes! You can't be cool forever...sometimes you just gotta be mom! If Madonna's musically career hadn't picked up after the only moest success of "Bedtime Stories", how great would it be to see and hear her doing lectures? She would've been the shit. The problem is there haven't been the people that pull it out of her. Matt Lauer has the come the closest to pulling that out of her. Since Ray of Light people have treated her different.
