Musically, What Would You Like To See In 2007 AD......That May/May Never Happen?

1. I like to see a new genre invented that will be good enough to stand up to hip-hop/r&b. Any new ideas brothas & sistas?!?

2. We already has a revival of synthpop, electro (as electroclash & as good hip-hop samples), and freestyle (mostly reunions for Expose, Stevie B, & TKA), so where is THAT long overdue synthfunk revival?

3. Will Ready For The World & The Deele ever have a reunion tour or album?

4. Can House make another comeback?

5. Can Miami Bass make a comeback?

6. Will Dr.Dre ever release Detox? Or has Timbaland permanently suppass him as The Best Hip-Hop Producer of All Time?

7. Since James Brown (Rest In Peace) isn't here, will Sly Stone FINALLY take this as a wake up call and make that Sly & The Family Stone reunion album? Even better, would Sly reach to Prince, George Clinton, Larry Graham, and/or even Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis for some help?

Add more ideas please!
cool

though i wouldn't go; if i were a promoter, i'd try to get Justin and Usher to agree to a joint tour where they competed against each other the whole tour. they'd be constantly changing up their routines, set lists, etc. to keep each other guessing. talk about a cash cow! they could play urban and suburban arenas and sell them out. it'd be fun too, good for the industry. kinda like the Brandy and Monica psuedo "feud song" The Boy is Mine

I would like to see shit hop not only die, but I would love to see a huge backlash against it 10 times worse than the "disco sucks" backlash.

That's exactly what I want also. Although I don't think it would be funk and dance replacing it though because there are people that have actually been raised on shit hop. Most of them don't know anything else and don't have the capability to be funky. The music that replaces it would probably be equally as boring but I want to see something replace it. Hell, I don't care if it's opera. lol

PSB and one of the Bananarama are invloved in Kylie's new album....I might not even wait the mandatory six months for that one to come to the US and just pay more for an import!

Mine is simple. Donna Summer finally releases an album that is worthy of the over a decade and a half wait! She says it might be more political with possible Marvin Gaye covers but I'm hoping she brings some hot dance like her last few cuts!

I'd like to see a new Lenny Kravitz CD - either back to basics or maybe even a Motown sound . . . it's been almost 2 years since Baptism and I'm ready for another disc.

New U2 CD
New Radiohead CD
New Garbage CD
New David Gray CD
More remastered Stevie Wonder discs (not just the same 5-6 remasters)

I'd like to see Rap fall out of favor as quickly as hair-metal did when Grunge came out. Remember that? It was literally almost overnight . . . yeah, I can't wait for rap to be gone. (The stuff that is passing for rap these days).

Honestly, I'd like to see a video station that played nothing but videos, concerts, or concert movies ALL DAY LONG. You know, what MTV used to be. I'm 35 and there is nothing worth watching on any of the music stations except VH1-Classic, and even then they don't play new stuff that often.

When did Real World/Road Rules/Cribs/Pimp My Ride/Next/DateMyMom/WildNOut/Punked/etc. take the place of music?

That's a rhetorical question, but c'mon already . . .

confused
