...
That 1975 album, Back to Back is probably the first place I heard a Luther Vandross composition, that tune, "What Can A Miracle Do"(co-written with Don Grolnick)...I've since heard other people cover the song (Cuba Gooding, Sr., of the Main Ingredient, for one), but I always wondered why Luther never recorded it himself (or never released it, anyway)..... BTW, What did you think of their 1994 album, "Out of the Loop"? That one's still a favorite of mine.... ... Heard When It Was on Planet Jazz (one of the Sirius stations on my Dish Network system. Got sucked into the groovy rhythm guitar part and made a mental note to find what album it was on. Listening now. Lemme spin it a few times before I give you an answer. I'm also curious about... ...these two. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all." | |
